Sea Fishing

Sea Fishing is a great way to spend the day with a group of guys for a stag do. If you hire the boat between a group of about 6-10 then it really doesnt work out that expensive per head, and then is a lot of good fun and banter to be had when someone hooks a fish.

Sea Fishing is obviously a little weather dependant, so stick to the summer months when the weather is a bit more reliable. If you do end up having bad weather just try and go with the flow. If you've got the wet rainproof gear on then a bit of rain really isnt too bad, if not ideal. It is recommended you check with the captain about what indoor areas they have on the boat just in case. They're normally pretty keen for bookings, so if you mention weather concerns you'll normally get a bit of a commitment from them about what will be available to you if the weather is bad.

Make sure you get yourself fully stocked before setting off. Take a crate of beers with you, a sun had and shades, and some food/snacks and you'll have a great time.

Most companies which offer private hire sea fishing will have virtually everything you will need laid on. eg rods, bait, nets, etc. But it is always worth just double checking beforehand, to save any potential embarrasment on the day.
